Anisa Koci

A Chartered Civil Engineer CEng by the Institution of Civil Engineers and with an MSc in Civil Engineering with Environmental Engineering  Anisa provides insight from both technical and managerial perspectives, combined with private and public sector engineering experience across transport and regeneration portfolios.
 
Her MSC degree was followed by a highways engineer role within the regeneration team at Portsmouth City Council. She was then promoted to senior project manager (technical) at Portsmouth City Council.
 
Anisa is currently Principal Port Project Manager undertaking major schemes and programmes with Portsmouth International Port. Her current role mainly involves the management of infrastructure schemes, which supports the growth and regeneration of the local surrounding Portsmouth area. Major schemes at the port are overseen by Anisa, who has been leading on complex capital infrastructure programmes at the port for the last 5 years to support the growth and regeneration of the city. This has involved securing significant external funding to deliver projects such as £20m Border Control Post, Levelling Up Funding for the Terminal Annexe Construction, and more recently successfully obtained Freeports SEED funding
 
Passionate about diversity in engineering and STEM subjects Anisa sits on the ICE South Graduate, Student and Apprentice Committee and is an employment mentor at the University of Portsmouth, representing her MSc degree in engineering as an alumni of the city’s university.
 
She is also multilingual, speaking Albanian, English, Greek, Italian and Spanish.
